Today Ali Yassine, the long time Cardiff City announcer, was sacked by the club.
Ali has been a loyal Bluebird since his youth and his wit and enthusiasm has amused and inspired Cardiff City players and fans for 14 years. His voice brings back memories of Ninian Park, and a time when there was passion and atmosphere on the terraces.
Eight years ago Ali was also fired, but a fans campaign brought him back almost immediately. We can do it again. Sign this for a Cardiff City legend.

The board thought they could silence Ali and move on without a fight but this surge of support proves how wrong they are. Cardiff City management needs to look at this momentum and realize we will not accept their pathetic decision to toss out a club legend.

long-time supporter (50 years), very disappointed to see Ali kicked out for no apparent reason. His replacement is awful. Fix this now, before it becomes yet another cause celebrate against Vincent Tan.
the atmosphere at home matches is not the same before kick off with the new announcer. Ali Is enthusiastic, a fellow bluebird and everything that the new announcer is not. Absolutely awful that Ali is gone. Home games will not be the same without him, also Wales matches will not be the same.
Shocking decision. Richard Shepherd is good historian but sounded like an announcer at a southern counties horse show - or a voice machine!! Ali could also announce in Welsh. FAW MUST retain him even if City don't bring him back.
Further evidence that the boardroom has no respect for the club's heritage or any appreciation of terrace culture. Witty, passionate and with a record collection to die for, Ali is the authentic voice of the Bluebirds. Bring him back!

Ridiculous decision and disgraceful to do it the day before the first game of the season! Ali is Cardiff City through and through, just when the club starts to look like we are all pulling in the same direction you get this idiotic decision, please reverse it
