It is beautiful, it is historically valuable, and it is a place for people to work in London....it should not be made into luxury homes.

Yet again greed trumps everything. None of the "luxury" apartments will be affordable. This must be stopped for the sake of London as a living breathing city. One can only hope that brexit effects will force ignorant speculators to stop investing in property in London. Save these works - they are a living treasure and should be protected as such.

Buildings from this period will disappear before we realise what has happened. Not pretty, but an example of what the Edwardians were building before the Great War. A bonus is the fine work going on inside the building.

It is vitally important to ensure that London doesn't simply become covered with luxury flats at the expense of workspaces and places of real employment.

The alga works is a precious survival of the old manufacturing base of London. It's continued survival would preserve a living link with past and demonstrate the continuity between the old london and the new.

Buildings are about people! Thoe who went before and those who will be there long after we have gone. To change the character of this wonderful, and useful, building will scar forever the landscape of London. I urge you to have a heart and refuse this application.

Local people need jobs, and the rest of the world needs spectacles. I want Algha Works to stay where they are because I want to be able to buy their products for many years to come (without leaving Hackney).

We are losing London's architectural heritage at an alarming rate. Save this distinctive building that also offers a useful resource for local businesses.

What a wonderful area - and these works should be saved as a national and local heritage ... we need heritage so we can learn from our past.

The building and the business are are really important part of social history. The Olympic legacy recognises the contribution of Ludwig Guttmann to history...Wiseman's are equally important in different way

I'm so tired of this pattern. Successful, established small business pushed out by greed.

This building is still providing a very useful purpose, at the same time giving employment to local people. Why more luxury housing, the developers do not think of our heritage. PLEASE do not allow this to go ahead!
