The Alexandra Junior Youth Council would like to request the building of a hydroslide at Molyneux Aquatic Center.
We passionately believe that Alexandra would benefit hugely fromhaving a hydroslide at our local pool, Molyneux Aquatic Center. We are confident that this would eventually pay for itself and draw more youth into our community. We believe that more people would use the pool including youth from surrounding towns. It should also draw more interest from local high school students and encourage them to use the pool more regularly

Totally agree. As a kid I used to holiday here from Nelson but once I got older and in my teens I became a bit bored of the pool to be honest and didn't enjoy being there as much. A hydro slide would make for an excellent improvement and you would find many more people using the pool. :)
Would be an awesome asset to the community, greater attraction to the many that don't use our pool The Center would defiantly have high numbers though the door..... And even if it doesn't ,do it for the kids it's about providing fun enviroments for growth
I believe that the youth of today would benefit from having a hydroslide at their local pool so they can enjoy it. With Alexandra being a small town, many youth are missing out on things that other youth in bigger cities experience.
With 2 young boys, this would be awesome. Had one in Gisborne and the kids loved it.
It would be of benifit to the Alex Community and Central Area Otago Area. Make our pool a destinationand the whole of the Alexandra community would benifit.

Great idea, would make the complex even more appealing with hundreds of potential users right next door at the high school. A great way of utilizing the outdoor space more effectively during summer months too.
