The Farmer's Market and Flea Market at Alemany have become landmarks in this city. Until recently, been an example of the diversity of people and places that make San Francisco what it is. Recently, the city executed an RFP (request for proposal) process to change the way that food vendors are accepted at Alemany. Due to this process, long-standing businesses are being forced out of this marketplace.
