My son has been in Aledo ISD since preschool. He has autism and a mood disorder. It has been a long and tumultuous road in this district. He has been to 3 schools in AISD. When he finally got to McCall we finally got a break. He came to really love and bond with Mr. Beaty. We saw him make great strides and continues to improve because of the compassion, friendship and sheer gifting of this man. Not only should he remain principal but I would like to see him eventually become superintendent. This man changed my sons life

Jason Beaty is the finest principal I have ever known. Aledo ISD should do anything to keep this man at McCall. It will be a loss that should never have happened. Very disappointed in AISD.

Huge loss!! Both my boys went through McCall & Mr Beaty is an outstanding principal who loves the kiddos and all his staff! McCall is a fantastic school & I attribute a lot of its success to his leadership! Very sad to hear of things like this happening to someone so undeserving!

Mr Beaty is a treasure, and always has the best interest of the students at heart. The STAAR test is a money wasting scheme that only helps Pearson improve their bottom line. It does not adequately measure a child's academic progress and should never have gotten so enmeshed in our education system that good teachers or administrators are leaving the profession over them. AISD should be ashamed of themselves if they take the coward's path and allow this travesty to continue.

This is a disgrace and should not be allowed. It is shameful that they would consider accepting the resignation over a racket scam like the STAAR.

Two years ago, my husband lost his job as basketball coach due to "wins and losses". Well, funny how that has worked out for the district. It's funny, because men like Jason and Steve are exactly what these kids need. The shortsightedness of the district Is remarkable!!! While I have never personally met Jason, Steve has told me on countless times what a wonderful man he is; and that's good enough for me.

We moved out of the district a few years ago, but were blessed to have Mr. Beaty as a principal for five years. I can tell you that I have yet to meet a principal as wonderful as him yet in our new district. He's definitely the gold standard and AISD would be making a HUGE mistake letting him go.

I think Mr. Beaty is a huge asset to McCall. He truly cares about his students, staff and treats everyone as members of a family. I am truly disappointed to think that he was dismissed based on STARR scores. No one should be evaluated solely on test scores. Please reconsider the decision.

Hearing the news of Mr Beaty has deeply saddened me. I've had two boys go through Mc Call and I can honestly say that the strength and compassion that Mr. Beaty has is irreplaceable. The smallest detail, such as shaking my sons hand every morning to show him how to be respectful and firm, to the caring and loving advice he gave to me as a mother. I speak often of the great staff my children encountered in their years at McCall. Non of these things would be possible without the strong, loving leadership of Mr. Beaty.
Mr. Beaty, I would like to personally thank you and let you know how much you have done for my two boys. It would be unfortunate to lose such a great influence in our growing community, but I am thankful that you will continue to bless children like you have blessed mine.
