There was no nominee that resigned! Two nominees DID NOT!!! receive their package from the Electoral Officer. Extremely poor communication for our first election with the new election code. This greatly affected the candidacy of two invested, and worthy members.

I am in agreement with the nominee who constructed the issue we read here. If a nominee has issues that causes them to resign before election, it would be as simple as a message to membership that for reasons that have happened, the nominee has resigned. End of story. I would rather see that before election day hits and notify all by posted notes and signs etc.

So what I understand is that maybe the Chief and Council by "Mistakenly , Forgot to tellt Dawn about the Election" especially as she went to a funeral for God Sake and knew nothing about it! Hey Fare is Fare with the band ! And please no discrimining and unfair practices! Especially since "the Majority of the Bands 1st choice for Council would absolutely be Dawn Marie Kelly" ! Rescind The Vote Fare is Fare and business is business

I concur. The process and communication regarding changes from previous elections were deficient need to be rectified. I think, without the recommended changes, the process is unfair and unjust.

I truly believe that Dawn Marie should be able to run for council again, she totally beat everyone in our last election, no one but band members should have the right to block anyone from running!
It’s our reservation and we should have the right to decide who gets in no matter what

I agree 100%. It is unfortunate that members overlooked the section indicating 3 days as opposed to '3 business days.'
In legal terms, I wonder if there is any code, contract, etc. that stipulates only 3 days without the 'business days' being identified.
I'm guessing many members did not read the entire election code, and without proper identification of that specific section, it was overlooked.
