"نحن اهالي وسكان مدينة البيرة، نعلن ادانتنا واستنكارنا لقرار سلطات الاحتلال باغلاق مكب النفايات المركزي في مدينتنا البيرة ، الامر الذي يشكل تهديدا خطيرا للصحة العامة والبيئة للسكان وللمدينة، ويهدد بكارثة بيئية ، بهدف واضح وهو مصادرة اراضينا بهدف توسيع مستوطنة "بسجوت" المقامة على اراضي البيرة، ونهيب بكافة الفعاليات الحقوقية والانسانية والبيئية والصحية للتحرك السريع للتصدي لكل السياسات العنصرية التي تحول حياة شعبنا الى جحيم لا يطاق ."
