Inpatient services should not be moved out of town. It is not feasible for some people to have to travel for their care, especially in the winter. Keep the services the way they currently are.

Albert Lea Hospital is a necessary service to the community as it always has been. Mayo doesn't seem to care about patients like our clinics and hospitals did before they took over. I understand downsizing. The problem is high costs and insurance companies. Fix that first. Affordable care needs to start there.

When someone is sick and in need of inpatient services. The comfort of being able to stay in their hometown or closer to their hometown makes a difference in their mentality to get well. It affects family members who will not be able to visit as often, it makes a difference for the woman like me who delivers their babies quickly and likely will not make it to Austin. Hometown health care matters and while this move may make sense as a business, when you are dealing with something like healthcare, it becomes more than business. Bring back quality, personal care and you bring back business. If you continue in this fashion the care of the people will be pushed aside and you are left with neither patients nor money.

I was not in favor of the Ambulance Hub on Central Park, within the Community traffic it was and it inappropriate....but now it's a in business and you are cutting Emergency Services!? Not very healthy for public service minded. And you think Albert Lea needs Mental Health? If you are Mayo....go back to school on Public Health!

We need a full service hospital in our community that also serves the smaller communities around AL. The rural residents to the west of AL would be the most affected since Wells was closed years ago. It is put unintentional hardships especially on families of the elderly who need short hospital stays.

Stop Mayo from continuing their monopoly. The patients and the communities needs have not come first in a long time. It's big business- always stepping on the little people

Never again will someone be able to boast I was was born and raised in Albert Lea. Being a blue zone community is not such a good idea anymore. With health care being sacrificed.

This will effect a lot of people plus emergency services. Less ambulances to cover town and the county for 911 calls
