I am stunned that you are attempting to water down this important safety bill. Human life is at cost here. Build a budget based on safety, health, and education as the foundation. Stop giving away our money to big projects like the Kodiak Rocket Launch and the Knik Arm Bridge. Those projects should not be in the budget.

My child was killed by her boyfriend too, on September 22, 2000. Her name is Chelsey Rachel Foster and she was loved and cherished and still is. I miss her everyday of my life. Pass this Bill. This Joshua kid was 6 years old when my daughter was killed. We have to teach these kids how to deal with their emotions and not hit or kill someone because their angry. We must attack this issue at all angles. Knowledge is very powerful. Having been there, I could go forever, but I'll stop now. Good Luck and God Bless.
