I listened in on the LIO tonight (the other night) and was very moved by the heart felt testimony of Erin and the Mallorys and later the ongoing testimony of all the others- even Sant Claus. It was incredible to learn what the Senate Education Committee under the direction of Sen Dunleavy had done to HB 44 to attempt to destroy HB 44’s possibility of being effectively implemented. This sabotage effort of the Senators to destroy the House bills clear intent did not receive any support from the intelligent and passionate testifiers, and there were many. Sen Dunleavy should be embarrassed and ashamed of his blatant attempt to destroy Erin and Britts law. This is a travesty of unparalleled magnitude and any woman or parent that would knowingly support that dumb-ass Dunleavy in future elections should also look in the mirror with shame. I applaud you and your teams efforts to bring the issues of child sexuxl abuse to the attention of Alaskans. You can all look into that mirror and feel pride that you are doing the right thing for Alaska and its children, even those that do not realize the extant of the problem. Thank you.

This is for you, my sister, Breanna Moore. I wish this law existed in Alaska before your beautiful life was taken from you. That you may have been given the opportunity to know and see the signs of an abusive relationship, know how to leave or to have been given the help to get out. Her story should be enough, unfortunately it isn't to this senate and that's why I'm signing this petition. Its time to start saving others.
