A real tragedy for British sport that a home-grown and home-trained skier was denied an historic bronze medal after he had competed fairly.

Do what is right and reinstate Alain's bronze medal.

Could not agree more. Clearly in this instance a genuine error was made and therefore common sense will prevail. If I was Benjamin Raich I would give it to Alain Baxter!!

Ridiculously poor decision to take away the medal in the first place when it was known already tht the substancehe took was non-performance enhancing. I

Bronze medal is Alain's for sure. I'm a cycling fan and the stuff people get away with there is crazy. Common sense on this one please. Good luck.

Alain should get the medal back, the argument against him hinged on the testimony of an American doctor who allowed USA athletes to continue competing, despite repeatedly failing drug tests! This does not make him a reliable witness.

A very unfortunate situation where for once common sense should prevail. Return the medal

There was no intent of cheating unlike other athletes who have fared better!

Baxter's medal was his greatest achievement, please re-instate it, we all know he did not cheat
