If the substance was not great enough to affect performance, he deserves his medal

You've cleared him of no wrong doing, but didn't return his medal to him. I think it's time you did the right thing and returned it!

Because there's a difference of intent (was a clearly unintentional error), and also the substance in question has no impact on performance and thus there's no real reason to ban it anyway. Because a court of arbitration ruled that it didn't affect his performance, and that he shouldn't be banned from future competition, but no one followed through with returning the medal. Because other, higher-profile athletes in similar positions have had their medals returned, and medals should not be awarded or not awarded based on popularity.

Alain Baxter should have his bronze Olympic Bronze Medal and olympic medal status given back to him. The lab should of done a chiral assay on his sample which would determine it was the miror image optical isomer of the compound in question and thus not a perofmrance enhancing compound. Real injustice here. Please the IOC act now and not let Alain Baxter be another Jim Thorpe before something is actually done.
