As chairman of Kandahar Ski Club I am delighted to support this petition. Alain did not cheat, should never have been disqualified and deserves his place in Olympic history.

The Olympic Commitee are to represent and ensure sportsmanship and fairplay. Isn't it time that Alain Baxter not only receives his medal but has it properly presented with due honour and pride!

By not returning the medel the true drug cheats are the Olympic committee who refused to return it after the ban was overturned. So much for the Olympic spirit and the Olympic family. Returning the medel shows cheats that cheating will not be tolerated but fairness honesty and the spirit of competeing clean is important. After all if how many cyclists have kept titles and medals because of time limits surely cheating has no time limit and neither should honesty and fairness.

A real ambasador for the sport; he was cleared so logic surely dictates the medal is returned
