This has gone on too long. The Olympic Association needs to man up to their mistakes and not try to hide it. Give the guy his hard won medal, which he deserve fair and square,

This was so obviously - and evident at the time - a miscarriage of justice. Put it right now. The sport is damaged if it is not corrected.
