I'm trying to get the state of Alabama to start a lottery like the ones in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee, as well as legal casino gaming. The state of Alabama desperately needs money for schools and other projects. I feel that when someone wins a jackpot, either in a casino or from a lottery, the state will collect income taxes from it. Legalizing casino gaming will also bring in tax revenue from hotel/motel room rentals, food and drink sales, as well as employees wages. If you care about your kids' education, you know how important this is. Will you please sign this petition?
