I'm trying to get the state of Alabama to start a lottery like the ones in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee, as well as legal casino gaming. The state of Alabama desperately needs money for schools and other projects. I feel that when someone wins a jackpot, either in a casino or from a lottery, the state will collect income taxes from it. Legalizing casino gaming will also bring in tax revenue from hotel/motel room rentals, food and drink sales, as well as employees wages.
