This man has shown so much help to our youth and community through all the work.how is done. He is reformed , educated, and compassionate. It is tragedy and an injustice that he has not been granted a commutation!

i am the youngest sibling of arnie. As of july 11, 2017 i will be 53 years of age. My bother has served his time and would be a greater asset to his family and society as a free man. I plead for the governor to commute my brothers life sentence and release him at once....

I can think of no other individual who has contributed more, jumped through more hoops while incarcerated, is more deserving of commutation than Arnie King. Commutation is not only the right thing to do for Arnie, but also sends a positive message to the prison population. If not Arnie, whom?

Whether to grant Mr. King a commutation of a life sentence conviction comes down how we the public answer these two questions:
Has he served a sufficient amount of time to be an adequate punishment and
as a community are we better served by continuing to incarcerate him.
I answer the first question he has served a sufficient punishment and the second question is that he has demonstrated with actions he will best serve our community outside of jail. I believe he will continue the positive work he has started while incarcerated.

I cannot imagine a better example of a person who, in justice, should have his life sentence commuted. His contributions to the community outdo most not behind bars. His rehabilitation is assured and his repentance is evident.

Mr. King's impressive record of rehabilitation while behind bars justifies commutation of his sentence. Like any human being, Mr. King should be permanently defined by the worst thing he has ever done.

Keeping Mr. King in prison will unfortunately not bring back the person he killed. However, commuting his sentence would allow him to make a difference in young men's lives that he could mentor, and thus also benefit their communities.

I have come to know Arnold King as a sincerely repentant, honorable, and spiritual man who works a strong addiction recovery program. Through a lifetime of positive and productive action, he has proven his rehabilitation. I pray that Governor Walsh will commute his sentence.
