I have always believed that only a true Alaskan born and raised, should have ever collected the PFD.

I've been an Alaskan since 1977, way before dividends started. I agree with this to a certain extent, however; just because someone wasn't born in Alaska doesn't make them not Alaskan! I got here at the age of 4. To say people like myself aren't Alaskan because I want born here is wrong.... I think a more logical request would be people who were before the first dividend came out or were born here and stayed are eligible. By the way.... Im a proud "Alaskan"!

I would prefer that Alaska natives be the true recepiants of the Alaska PFDs since this is the home of the original residents.
