I've been here 15 years and didn't even know what the PFD was. I moved here for the beauty and solitude this state offered. Both my husband and I work(ed) on the slope, getting that oil up so you and your entitled asses get the PFD. So we don't qualify because we weren't born here??? None of you have probably done anything to earn it EXCEPT being born here. How is that any fairer? Just like welfare, the unemployed riding the shirttails of the employed to get something for nothing, all your momma did was push you out of her in this state and you think you're entitled. Even if you are born in Aaska, you must adhere to certain residential requirements. For example, if you move out of state, you no longer get the dividend, and you must be present in the state of Alaska for one calendar year before you can qualify for it again.

Born Alaskans already qualify to get a PFD, just because you hear about the state PAYING you to live in Alaska, doesnt mean you should take advantage of it and move to Alaska for the 'free money'.
