I absolutely agree. My wife and I are both born and raised in Palmer. I joined the Military in 2000 and have moved and came back. We were just stationed in FT Wainwright from 2006-2013 and I own a house and a condo in Fairbanks as well and just came back for 30 days in June 2015. I think that only those in the Military who were born and joined while living in Alaska should receive it. Being there in the Military for those 7 years and seeing these military families abuse the PFD when they did nothing but talk about how much they hate it there and can't wait to leave makes me sick! I 100% support this petition.

I am deaf and not born in Alaska. But I born my 3 hearing children for long time. Please keep going on for children's college or their own money for future. Think about it.

I do agree upon this petition. I agree that only actual Alaskans that were born and raised in Alaska should be eligible to earn and get a PFD. That said because too many people from other states and countries are moving into Alaska for that reason; using this privilege that was actually meant for true born and raised Alaskans that have ancestral history here in Alaska.

I love this idea, but I think it should be just Native Alaskans that have the heritage of any of the Alaskan tribes.

I am not an Alaskan but it is unfair for those who just moved to Alaska and claimed all of the Alaskans money. I don't mind not getting a PFD because I wasn't born in Alaska. My husband and I have 4 beautiful children who were all born and raised in Alaska. We moved out of Alaska in 2014 and I am saddened to hear this situation. I am 100% agreed with this petition. Thank You!

Ha! Good luck! How about you ask the Alaska Natives about who THEY think is "Alaskan"?
No one was dragging any land with them when they came...it was all stolen from Native Americans.
