Born & raised & moved away but have always felt this way. I don't receive it anymore as I live in another state, but for the rest of the Alaskans I support you

I was born and raised in Alaska and so was my son when I 24 I joined the army but I go back every year at least twice to visit my home and family and when I retire I plan on doing so there. .... I have always agreed that if your not born in Alaska then you are not entitled to our benefits

I think this is crap because I'm Aleut I wasn't born here but lived here most of my life, so I wouldn't get one....? I hope your petition gets denied. You must not be thinking of the people who have ancestors here long before you were because I know I did. Thanks for being so inconsiderate to those of us like me. Those who are truly an Alaskan native but didn't have a choice of where we were born.

How about the people that moved to Alaska when they were children and have been here ever since? My husband moved here when he was younger, I have been here since I was 3, and our children were born here. Him and I may not be Alaskan born, but we were raised here and have never wanted to live anywhere else.

One way to save the PFD and help with the current budget crisis

This may just help deter people from coming here just for the money.
