Throughout the day, it fluctuates in frequency, but from 7:00 to late at night, there is about one jet flyover per minute. It is very loud, low, and distracting. In past years, jetliners have stopped flying over Boston harbor, and instead (to save time) are flying directly over densely populated areas of Somerville, Medford, Arlington, Everett, Chelsea, and many more.
