Significantly more airplane noise since we moved to Mar Cheri, Federal Way. Big airplanes flying low overhead in middle of the night. Much worse each year.

Remember, the explosion of people moving into the Seattle area is the major cause of more planes. We want our economy to be strong, this is the consequences that come with it. I’m afraid it’s a losing battle, where is it possible to find another route, it won’t be Downtown Seattle, or rhe Eastside. Money Is the driving factor.

One of the main reasons I sold my beloved home on Vashon Island and moved seven years ago was excessively loud and frequent airplane noise overhead. It’s significantly impacted my quality of life in negative ways, especially loss of sleep.

A third runway did not exist when we bought our house. It was then forced upon the community with the promise that it would be a dependent runway for use when weather conditions required additional separation. As soon as it was built it began being used every day 24 hours a day. we can no longer hold outdoor get-togethers because conversation at a normal speaking level is out of the question. I am awakened several times per night due to airplane noise generated by planes utilizing the third runway approach path 24 hours per day. And no compensation or attempt to provide any noise mitigation has ever been offered.

Moved into Marine Hills in 1993. I have noticed a significant increase of airplane noise. It has gotten to the point of not being able to enjoy our garden and patio.

The approach from the South should be at the same altitude as from the North. I can't have a conversation in my kitchen with the door open! Not only that, produce from gardens are being tainted by exhaust from the planes...It's a health issue, and an ELECTION issue. Take heed!

It is past time for Washington to have a second airport or even a third. I could make a case for one on the west side and one at Moses lake.
