Jet Planes are going over my home in the SF Bay Area every 2 to 4 minutes all day every day into the night. I am getting woken up by air freight cargo planes in the middle of the night every few hours that are AIRbuses. My sleep is disturbed. Also many of the jets throughout the day are emitting the high pitched screeching sound. It is disturbing not only to my peace of mind, but my health as well. Follow the lead of European carriers and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. You can create 'good will' with the American public. I am traveling a lot right now in retirement; will be going to Asia and Europe. I will be choosing airline carriers that have installed the noise mitigation devices on their Airbuses. If you want my business do the RIGHT THING. Thank you Peg Spak

Palo Alto, CA has been impacted for over a year on flights to SFO that now fly directly overhead, often every 3-5 minutes. Quality of life and enjoyment of being outside have been severely decreased. Jets previously flew over the SF Bay and we heard them infrequently. While ultimately there needs to be redirection of jets over less populated areas it would help all to have vortex generators to lessen the noise which actually affects mental health and stress levels.

The approach noise of the Airbus 320 planes over our community is astounding, even 20 miles away from the airport, as the planes are already 3000-4000 ft overhead.

Its such a no brainer. A $5000 retrofit seems high. This is a small metal attachment. How can it cost that much?

New flight paths have disturbed the, up until 2015, peaceful skies of the mountains in the middle of nowhere!

NEXtGEN is making life miserable for thousands, maybe millions of people across the US. Whether your property is $2 million or you're just renting, it's unhealthy to be exposed to this ongoing noise and air pollution.

I am distracted/woken/etc...by this sound on a daily basis from 3000 ft distance.

It's very simple. Start behaving like a good neighbor or my business goes elsewhere.

Airlines need to take positive action to reduce noise and particulate matter imposed upon citizens under their flight paths. Simple fixes such as this need to be taken quickly and voluntarily.

I was recently on an Airbus from Europe, Lufthansa. A very quiet and comfortable plane, in comparison with those flying in the US. Please require US planes to be as quiet as European ones. Require installation of vortex generators on the older planes. As I live DIRECTLY under a flight path (no thanks to NextGen) I would truly appreciate anything that makes planes quieter. Thank you.

Lufthansa and Air France have already retrofitted their planes - at under $3,000 per plane. This is a no brainer!

With the increased air traffic that is also now flying at lower altitudes over Palo Alto, it is crucial that Airbus Whine be addressed by installing the vortex generator retrofits.
