I fully support the development of an outdoor bike park for the city of Airdrie. There are not enough outdoor options to support an active lifestyle for youth and adults here. Airdrie is a young, vibrant city with a large population base. When the weather permits, we want to be outside enjoying it! Right now we have to travel to other communities / areas to do so.

Alberta is in definitely need of more bike parks. With a bigger range from beginner all the way to pro !

I live in Calgary and the only dirt jumps I can think of are in Canmore.

I am a Pro BMX racer, I race out of Airdrie, AB, seeing a skills park open up would be such a wonderful idea, they have one in Chestermere, it's so much fun for the kids, it creates skills, and with the right builders it can be sectioned to an Amatuer, Intermediate, and Expert level in the park along with a large Pump track. I have been waiting for something like this for a long time. It will create more activity and it helps less mischievous activity in the summer months when children are out of school, they don't have to wait around for a ride to get to Chestermere. This is a fantastic idea and I fully support it.
