As part of Our citizenship coursework we have been focusing on how the media afeects airbrushing. We believ that airbrushing goes against the presscode as the press code says that no images or information should be altered and published. We feel that airbrushing should not be used in magazines, as it gives the wrong message to young people especially teengaers. We feel that it does not reflect the diverse body images in the world, only skinny body shapes. We believe this has a majour affecr on health as it can lead to may eating disorders as well as anorexia and bulumia. We hope that this pettition helps rasie awarness on how serious this matter is and hope it will get our message across.
