I agree; air pollution is a very serious health issue in Nicaragua. I learned this during my first visit there recently and it is very upsetting to me. Air quality has a major impact on health. It must be addressed. Eco-stoves exist that could cut the amount of smoke from burning wood used to cook, helping women and children especially. Burning garbage is a major hazard. Better buses are needed too. You said it! I support this petition after a visit to your country. It is a beautiful country, and it is a shame that the pollution is harming the health of the people, I will work and pray for positive change in air quality and am raising awareness as best I can here in the U.S. so that more people can donate for eco-stoves and help in whatever way they can. Great petition.
