Disgusting way to treat children had similar happen to myself which saw me eventually give up the sport I love and also lose some good friends

How can anybody refuse kids a chance to participate in a sport they want to play! someone somewhere needs a reality check!

this is what is wrong with junior ice hockey. kids being picked on cause of their parents. this has to stop. if parents arent grown up enough to see how they are effecting their kids they dont deserve to be involved!!!

Dammit - autosubmitted my post while typing. Continued here. That's pretty shoddy if this is the case. These kids could be assing around on street corners, or tucked away in their rooms with junk food and consoles but no, they want to do the best they can and their path is being blocked by good old backroom politics. Again, this is only based on what I have read here. Is there a public reply from Scottish Ice Hockey about this?

ridiculous that you would punish children for their parents mistakes.

Poor show that this dispute has stop children playing the sport. Looks like someone else is acting like a spoild brat.. Grow up and let the kids play the game.

Preventing children from taking part in sport is barbaric. What country do we live in? Freedom of speech and civil liberty are fundamental to our society yet this situation sounds like nothing more than a dictatorship. Get it sorted Scottish Ice Hockey.

No child should be left out due to the actions of the parent! Every child has the right to play, they are children.

Children should not be punished for what their parents have or have not done!!

If Scottish Ice Hockey are bringing children into a dispute that involves adults then its unforgiveable

I have no idea what the dispute with adults is about, nor is that my business, but it should never reflect on the children. Let them play!
