I am running to be a self-nominated candidate for this year's Collegian AIG Board Elections.
My goal, if nominated and elected, will be to ensure the Board's transparency to the membership at-large and expand the student-alumni dynamic. In past years there has been an underrepresented presence and lack of outreach toward Collegian Business Alumni; most are not even aware of the Alumni Interest Group and the opportunities available to its members.
The Collegian AIG can be a great resource for both students and alumni regardless of the unique experience each of you have gained while on staff. As a Collegian Alum, I encourage you in signing this petition as a sign that you would like me to potentially represent you as an AIG Board member.

I have been hearing from many of you about the lack of communication from the current board. If you want a seat at the table for our business alumni then email your fellow staff members today and urge them to view this petition.

Greg always cared about the business side of things back when we were in the basement. He would do a great job.
We need more outreach for sure. Haven't heard a word from that board in years.

Get it done Greg! Transparency is long overdue.
