This Petition Calls for American Hunters and Shooters Association to change their name to better reflect there agenda. After supporting a candidate that does nothing to support American Hunters and Shooters, by raising taxes on ammunition by 500%, banning common center fire rifle ammunition used to take deer, Banning guns firearms for citizens who would participate in shooting sports, etc. If you are an American Hunter or Shooter and want to continue doing the things you enjoy please support this petition and show what you think of a group claiming to speak for our community with claims that these laws would reduce gun violence while in fact the only effect these laws have is negatively affecting hunters and shooters. The National Academy of Science has thoroughly studied hundreds of gun control laws and has not found a single one effective at combating violent crime. Please include a brief statement as to how you are a hunter or shooter.
