AHS Online Teaching System
10th May 2020
We, the parents, are not satisfied with the current online teaching system that has been implemented by AHS during the Covid-19 lockdown.
Using suitable platforms, live online classes during normal school hours have successfully been implemented globally for students of all ages. Our children require, at a minimum, a daily live class, something AHS is refusing to implement.
In the absence of an effective online teaching platform, we feel AHS is unjustified in demanding full fees for the school term since the expensive service we pay for is not being provided to our satisfaction.
In order to move forward, AHS must provide an online teaching system that allows for daily live interaction between the teacher and the student. Furthermore AHS must provide a public forum for an open and transparent online discussion between all parents and AHS staff so that logistical solutions can be mutually reached as quickly as possible. Failing this, AHS should offer a substantial reduction in school fees during this period of reduced services.
