The Agrestic Music Festival for Autism has already grown exponentially in its two years of existence thanks to the support it has received by its generous donors, volunteers, and fans. Now we want to make it even better by progressively moving forward to join the likes of other big festivals in the selling of alcohol at the event. As we have witnessed recently from allowing the sale of alcohol and bringing in new business, Whitesburg is moving toward progression and leaving behind the thinking of old. By allowing the sale of alcohol at the music festival we can bring in people from outside the area and bring even more people to beautiful Whitesburg, KY. As the new restaurants/bars that have opened in the last couple of years has proven, this can indeed lead to an increase in visitors to our city. It also has not brought with it anymore unlawful activity. Our residents have proven they can act responsibly. As a matter of fact we would have police and security on hand to keep things in order. We already have approval to allow drinks in cups as long as no one is rowdy so why not sale alcohol and get an even bigger donation to autism? So help us help Whitesburg grow and prosper progressively into the 21st century before we get even further behind. Thank you.
