I, ____________, as a diligent student of GEOS/ES 201, hereby agree to submit all future assignments prior or at the time and date specified by Dan Brabander. I will drop-off said assignments at either A. DB's office at the Observatory or B. In the blue bin in the GEOS lab at the Science Center or
C. In OBS 123, to be directly handed to DB before or after lecture. I accept that my failure to adhere to submit assignments in a timely manner may subject my lab grade to point deductions if DB sees such penalization as fit. -Exceptions to this agreement may granted under the following circumstances: A. Cases in which I am suffering from illness.  
B. Cases in which my motor abilities are compromised from injury. C. Other highly compelling cases involving exceptionally difficult situations that would inhibit me to complete the assignment and/or physically turn assignments in. (1) I acknowledge that if I am able to complete the assignment but am not able to physically turn it in (i.e. due to circumstance A or B), I have the opportunity to give my notebook to another classmate who will act as proxy in the submission process. -Petitions for extensions, which will be sparsely granted, must be sent to DB at my earliest convenience and no later than 3 days prior to the deadline. (1) Exceptions to this stipulation are cases in which I am suddenly affected by some excruciating circumstance between 0-2 days prior to the deadline. -If granted an extension, I will be expected to submit my assignment at my earliest convenience. -Extensions for assignments, the length of which will be decided at DB's discretion, will not surpass 1 week except in cases of serious and prolonged illness.
