To The Secretary and All Council Members of MCST 3322,

We, the undersigned Subsidiary Proprietors (SPs) of MCST 3322, hereby submit this petition to formally request that the Council place a temporary hold on all tendering, contractual commitments, and expenditure related to the proposed the refurbishment of the outdoor fitness area and repainting of the entire estate facade.

1. Background and Acknowledgment - We acknowledge the Council for their hard work in managing the estate. We understand that ongoing maintenance projects, such as repainting and facility upgrades, are essential for enhancing our living environment.

2. Reason for Request - Our request for a temporary hold is not a rejection of these necessary projects. Instead, it is driven by a desire for greater transparency and collaborative discussion. The proposed works represent a significant capital expenditure that will have financial implications for all SPs through their fund contributions.

We believe that such major projects warrant thorough deliberation and consensus-building within the community. Many SPs have expressed a strong desire to:

· Review the detailed cost breakdowns and quotations obtained for the projects.

· Understand the rationale behind the chosen specifications, materials, and timeline.

· Discuss potential alternatives or phasing options.

  • Present the detailed proposals, including at least three quotations, project specifications and the proposed funding method to all SPs present.
  • Allow sufficient time for a comprehensive Question-and-Answer session and a collective decision.
