Congress is trying to pass a bill called the "SOPA", or Stop Online Piracy Act. This act will make Online Piracy a felony, punishable with up to 5 Years in prison, even noncommercial internet users face this. We are the internet! We have power! We can petition against Congress, and we can stop the SOPA Together. We are Americans! They do not have the right to hinder our Constitutional Right of Freedom. We have a say! Hundreds upon hundreds of legal internet websites will be facing legal issues under the  SOPA, such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and Wikipedia. Do your part in preventing this from occuring!

The reach of this petition has captured the attention of several technology policy analysts who are now assisting with our formal response to Congress. We are currently finalizing a briefing document that outlines the specific economic risks associated with this legislation. I will submit these materials to the Judiciary Committee members by the end of the week.
