Ive always thought.. What is the council tax?? Or poll tax?? What actually does it do apart from making the rich richer??
And the poor poorer!!
Someone please shine some light on this, and don't give me the old bins,roads,and public transport guff.. As since this uncalled for money grabbing idea came out of someones sawdust in between their ears, ad they certainly have no brains. our bins now have wheels,and have to be taken BY THE RESIDENTS!!! NEVER MIND THIER AGE!!! To the roadside... Which almost impossible for some of the older folks as my parents!! being of age myself I remember back in the day a binman was taught how to carry the dustbin on ones back and also taught respect.. Do they have that now ?? Don't make me laugh even the bins have wheels and you not even lift the bin into the compactor.. Yet you expect a person I their 60,70,80's to drag a heavy bin to the roadside !! That's disgusting!!
As for the roads.. I too have worked on the roads.. And the ( so called fixing of roads these days are " excuse my French " absolute crap!! An inch or two covering on a road does not fix sod all... To have a decent fix you have got to at least dig down two foot then hard core then substrate then asphalt..
Today's fixing is a joke!!
And public transport!! Has now cost has gone up.. Im not bothered with free ass WiFi why in God's green earth would I want WiFi on a bus?? A bus ride should be a place of talking and scenery not like a tin library with every bodys faces glued to their mobiles like some sort of zombie...
The council tax does nothing that has made me think mum
In fact it has made me quite the opposite. Ive even thrown up at the thought of paying for this...
And as prices for accommodation has shot up still having this awful tax is ridiculous..

You cannot keep,increasing this tax whilst cutting services and increasing your salaries. The council are disorganised, incompetent and act very shady on some issues.

It's unfair that this rises at a high rate but then our wages domt cover it. I as a family will struggle to pay it and be taken to.court
