If allowed to be built, this pig farm could cause the unnecessary abuse and unnecessary slaughter of thousands, if not millions, of pigs. Pigs are beings who, presumably, don't want to die. Pigs are also said to be as intelligent, in terms of numeracy and basic skills, as a three year old human child.

There are so many farms around here, with such a near by rural area put posing a farm in camp centre is ridiculous, there are fields and empty spaces all over this town

I dont agree with a factory farm being so near to a built up residential area, including a school which fields from the farm back on to. By all means farm pigs, but do it the natural way

My property backs on to the farmers field. The flies off the farm are bad enough during the summer without adding a pig farm

Not appropriate to put a pig farm in a housing estate, there are plenty of places near by a pig farm would not be an issue
