with prior work at a truck stop ive seen what happens including crime robbery, deug trafficking, prostitution, over doses.
the pollution alone can be damaging to health. currently we rent but if peotone becomes a TIF district we might not be able to buy here like we hope.

A truck stop is a horrible idea. The 57 interchange area is already dangerous and does not need additional traffic, let alone semi truck traffic. We have enough gas stations for the people of this town. A truck stop has no benefit for us. We don't need the traffic, pollution, noise, or potential safety issues.

Against it, terrible idea. I like our quiet little town how it is. This will make semi traffic worse, the room and shower accommodations invite prostitution, drugs and undesirables. No truck stop

I am against this truck rest area for many reasons. Exhaust fumes are unhealthy to the human body, the traffic we will endure on our already horrible roadways will be increased significantly, the noise and light pollution that will be associated, and lastly that this will not give anything new to the local people of this town. We already have fuel and fast food. This proposed project is only serving outsiders from the interstate and is off no value to our small town.

This is not what Peotone needs. Prostitution, Drugs, Diesel Fuel fumes, Semi truck congestion. Wilmington road is already congested and the North Peotone exit is already an accident waiting to happen. NO TRUCK STOP!!!

I oppose the building of all and any semi-truck stop located in Peotone. The amount of accidents at this proposed site should be enough to have our board deny the building of a truck stop in this area.
