Thomasville Rd is already congested enough and this neighborhood is so quaint and lovely. Would be a shame to ruin the peaceful living of this community.

A strip mall will make thomasville road look trashy. We have lots of strip malls around here with vacancies...please keep the aesthetic beauty of the area intact

This is a assault on the residents that own a home in the area. They would be surrounded by noise and commercial chaos. What a sad state of affairs for our city to see our residents and their right to live in peace is so easily overlooked. All in the name of consumption.

As a daily commuter of Thomasville Rd. ,a strip mall is not needed at the Kerry Forest intersection. I dread what this will do to the traffic as well as the neighborhood.

PLEASE do NOT approve this!! My children play in this neighborhood all the time and they won't be able to with this proposed development. The street will be too busy for riding bikes and skooters.

Resist rezoning and say no! This city, which prides itself and tries to sell itself to new homeowners on quality of life needs to seriously reconsider its zoning policies. After the horrendous destruction of magnificent oaks (which also blocked the direct view of an ugly gas station) to accommodate an unnecessary car wash of all things, another strip mall and parking lot is not what needs to happen. I live in Killearn, whose lakes have been filled with silt from the massive dump of fill dirt washing down from the scarification of wooded acres along Ox Bottom for strip mall construction. I can hear the dumpsters being emptied from the school and mall located on the south side of Kerry Forest. The families
of St. Ives will be trapped in their own neighborhood surrounded by traffic, parking lots, noise and lights.
This city has been bemoaning the unappealing and ugly entrance to Tallahassee on U.S. 27 (lined with strip malls and parking lots) makes and yet is dead set on repeating the same disaster on 319.
Do not rezone to commercial. The entrance to our city does not have to be paved with strip malls.

That area does not need another commercial development what with a super center, car wash, drug store, and strip center already at the corners. Traffic is already heavy there and does not need more congestion.

Horrible idea. The proposed shopping area will congest traffic for the Saint ives residents and will impact those on Kerry Forest going south on Thomasville Road.

There is no need for a strip mall to be placed at the entrance of the neighborhood of homes that has only one entrance. The traffic pattern would be horrendous for the residents of this community as well as the public using the commercial property and Kerry Forest. There are plenty of accidents on the corner of Thomasville Road and Kerry Forest as it is and would only get worse if this is allowed to go through. Please stop this insanity!

This proposed rezoning is unnecessary and destructive. Obviously the property values of St.Ives and Mint Hill will be negatively impacted, their entrance and backyard becoming parking or retail stores and the local traffic for the other communities on Kerry Forrest between Thomasville Rd and Kerry Forrest, including the elementary school, being greatly increased. This, when across the street is a llarge commercial area with empty store fronts.

The property now has many trees which serve as a buffer to the adjacent neighborhoods. There is enough commercial property in the area.
