We, the users of the global social networking site, Facebook are greatly concerned about Facebook's new policy that will come into effect soon(from January 2015) and that allows Facebook to use our personal information in any way it wants. We definitely do not want our personal information, words, photos/images/pictures/graphics, artwork, videos, audios or any other information of the personal kind to be used by Facebook. The site may, if it pleases, approach the individual personally with a written request to use their private information and shall do so only if the individual contacted gives a written permission. Otherwise, it will be deemed as a violation of a person's/group's privacy and Facebook shall be held liable for this offense which is punishable under Law.

People and groups that have an account on the social networking site, Facebook must sign this online petition in order to save themselves from an invasion of privacy by Facebook. According to the social networking giant, its new policy that comes into effect from January 2015 allows it to use of the personal information of its users as it pleases. This is a blatant invasion of privacy and must be stopped.

*** I, Ankita Srivastava from India, am filing this petition on the behalf of Facebook users from around the world who believe Facebook's new policy is an invasion of our privacy. Please sign this petition and spread the word!***
