Hello Lynchburg City High school students. I bring with me today a concern that will affect our GPAs and lower the GPA calculations. Now this sounds like a good idea because it makes it easier for someone to pass a class, but it's not. One concern is that passing with a low er GPA will not help you get into good college or institution. Another concern with the LCS policy is that this decision will lower GPA calculations. For example, the school system is deciding to bring the 5.0 in an AP class down to the 4.0 of an advanced class. This isn't fair whatsoever for students who try their best to achieve their goals or their intended GPA. So if you feel the same, then please sign this petition and to LCS please DO NOT approve of this new deal. Thank you for your consideration.
