The definition of Eugenic Abortion: A measure taken to avoid or prevent the birth of a defective child. Eugenic abortion is one solely to eliminate a potentially defective foetus.
We aim to raise awareness of Section 1(1)d of the UK's 1967 Abortion Act which states allowed termination of pregnancy at any time if there is a risk of the baby being born seriously disabled . Under other circumstances abortion has to take place during the first 6 months of the pregnancy.
