STAND NOW AGAINST the draconian, sweeping measures proposed by UK officials in monitoring public eMail and Web use - this is an ASSAULT on our LIBERTY as a free nation. We need no baby-sitting, nor spying on our honest, respectable activities, thank you.
I have been reading your messages about how these surveillance measures will chill our private conversations and destroy the trust we have in our digital spaces. The silence from the officials drafting these rules is telling but it only hardens my resolve to keep pushing back against this overreach.

The momentum behind this effort is growing faster than I ever anticipated. Seeing so many people recognize that our private digital lives are not up for government grabs gives me real hope. We are proving that our right to move through the internet without being watched is a fight worth having.

Ridiculous. We live in a free country not a prison camp. Keep your noses out of my private life.
