The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has consistently failed to uphold agreed-upon service standards, and demonstrates a lack of commitment to system improvement. Suncity Estate is experiencing an unacceptably erratic power supply, with daily outages frequently exceeding 18 hours most times . Notably, AEDC appears to manipulate the system by briefly (flashing severally) restoring power before the 12-hour blackout threshold is reached. This behavior is perceived as retaliation for the residents' refusal to participate in the BAND A. The power situation in Suncity has deteriorated significantly over the past 17 months, and continues to worsen. We demand immediate and reliable power supply from AEDC

We want our old Suncity Estate back. Most people moved into Suncity because of the constant light then. Pls, give us the 16- 20 hours Band B light. Enough is enough

The load shedding that leaves residents without light for 2 days and sometimes having light only for 2 hours and flashing every 5 minutes is totally unacceptable. I have lost 2 TV set as a result of the flashing of light. AEDC should do better

It is painful that for the past Fifteen (15) months, the number of days AEDC has been able to give the Estate more than Five (5) hours of power will surely be less than Twenty (20).
The norm is power being restored and taken for up to 6 times within a space of ten (10) minutes before they forget us for the next twelve to eighteen hours. Sad!!!
To make matters worse, AEDC makes us pay Band B tariff but they (AEDC) and the Almighty God know that that is the biggest scam in the world at the moment as we do not get anything close to 16-20 hours average power supply per day.
My take: In the light of the above, AEDC is a Scam!!!
