This petition is towards a legalizing aftermarket exhaust and mufflers in Saskatchewan. The Saskatoon Police try to ban all aftermarket exhausts through a decibel system. Who is to say what is a legal amount of sound able to be put out? The use of these loud exhausts on vehicles such as trucks and motorcycles do not seem to be an issue for the Saskatoon Police, but rather more import tuner vehicles. If the police have a problem with such noise "violations", what are they to do about the Lamborghini's, Muscle cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, etc. that come with a loud exhaust straight bone stock? They do nothing. Why penalize the people who have the same decibel exhaust on other vehicles? The law should be enforced by excessive uncomfortable noise. Vehicles that are purposely trying to rev their engines excessively, not vehicles that are driving appropriately.
