CLOSE TO 60% OF THE STUDENT BODY OF ALDINE-ISD IS OF HISPANIC CULTURE YET ONLY 1% OF THE CHEERLEADERS ARE HISPANIC. IT IS MANDATORY THAT ALDINE-ISD'S CHEERLEADING CONSTITUTION BALANCE THE DEMOGRAPHIC RATIO OF ELECTED CHEERLEADERS TO AVOID ANY TYPE OF DISCRIMINATION AND FAVORITISM. THIS REQUEST IS TO BE ADMINISTERED NO LATER THAN THE SPRING OF 2009 CHEELEADING SELECTION. AFFIMATIVE ACTION SHOULD BE HONORED IN EVERY AISD SCHOOL. HISPANIC REPRESENTAION MUST BE APPLIED TO THE NEW 2009 CHEERLEADER'S MEMBERSHIP DO NOT DONATE ANY FUNDS OR MONEY TO THIS PETITION OR WEBSITE.
