It is disgusting and cruel that innocent children were made to suffer at the hands of these perpetrators.I don't care one bit if they thought they were doing it out of 'love' or following their cult leader.There is no excuse for these cruel and selfish acts.Grown ups know right from wrong and they made their choice and there needs to be consequences for their actions.They should be made to suffer like they made Children suffer for all those years.Sadly we have lost many along the way from feeling they needed a way out of their pain physically,emotionally and mentally.It is horrible to think that certain individuals could cause so much agonising pain towards Children they should have been protecting and making them feel safe but no they did not anything of the sort.They abused their power and failed in a big way.

I was present for a variety of beatings and other human rights violations as well as having been witness to sexual abuse and molestation of minors which resulted in members involved being quietly removed from the home with none of the abuses reported to the proper authorities. I would be willing to testify under oath that the above statement is true.

I witnessed beatings and spankings so much so that one child's buttocks was just one giant blue welt. I also experienced mental abuse by being repeatedly lectured, lied to and coerced into begging for food and money on the streets instead of going to school all throughout my childhood and teenage years. I was also sent to a special internment "Camp" to get rid of my homosexuality and my constant problem of questioning leadership. I still suffer from that abuse today and is not something I can easily move past, or away from. They have in essence ruined a good part of my life and adult psyche.

I was there in the 80s and the stories about the beatings and the food denial are 100 percent real. They destroyed so many kids lives. Glad people are finally speaking out about the nightmare we lived through.

All these statements are accurate. I can attest to this because I was there and both suffered and witnessed systematic sexual, physical, and mental abuse until I escaped at age 15 in 1995... The victims deserve justice and should not be the ones ashamed to speak!
