Agree! I am a full time affiliate with CB and I am truly concerned with wha't going on lately. They are trying to run away from doing what actually needs to be done, that is REMOVING ALL THE TRASH LISTED ON MARKETPLACE. I already told them that it is unbelievable how i can find, DAILY, trash offers listed on marketplace that have no proper working site, that even do not use CB checkout cart, that have site looking like made 10 years ago, that have offers that are simply there to suck money from customers without offering any value, etc.
Then of course they get a huge chargeback and refund rates....no wonder!
Hey CB managers, if you're reading this..."JUST CLEAN YOUR MARKETPLACE"!!

I'll remove all products from Clickbank if they require this idiotic code.

Listen to everything Chris Haddad has to say to you guys. He's completely correct about how direct marketing works. Change your name if you require your banner. There MUST be a hidden reason you are doing this and not telling people because directly going against your customers wishes is going to murder your business.
I really hope it was "this or lose Visa and Mastercard forever and ever" because that's how severe your of a decision you've made.

I am TOTALLY against the banner, regardless of whether it is implemented as an iframe or some other technology.. It is going to kill conversion rates, and make customers bounce away without buying:
When a customer searches for "download shed plans" or something, and sees a page with "ClickBank" at the top, they are going to think they landed on the wrong page, or it's a phishing attempt, and press Back immediately.
No vendor is going to pay to advertise their site on Bing or Adwords or in email lists (for example) -- and remember this drives an awful lot of CB sales -- if the vendor's site is now primarily about promoting ClickBank's retail portal, rather promoting the vendor's own product/brand.

It's truly disgusting what Clickbank has been trying to do. As a vendor and an affiliate for 13 years, I am shocked how they expect us to put a banner on "our" web sites that they do NOT and will NEVER own.

I will NEVER promote another Clickbank product again if that ugly banner is at the top. I'm not sending valuable traffic to a sales page just so I can lose it through a huge leak like that.

I have been a vendor and affiliate of Clickbank for 6 years in the latino marketplace, promoting products in Spanish.
Latin americans are very skeptical of buying online. Adding a Clickbank header would make it much more difficult to sell to them. They have absolutely NO IDEA what Clickbank is. Creating brand awareness in the Spanish community is pretty much utopia. Will never happen. On the contrary, the very name "Clickbank" sounds spammy to them.
It will only damage conversions and lower sales, and will make absolutely no difference on chargeback rates.
