I believe that city taxes on a rental car here result in an aggregate of over 20% tax from an airport rental. That sticks it to our visitors. People that park near the airport are residents, who are leaving temporarily, and coming back. Why would the city soak its own taxpayers instead of visitors?

There isn't sufficient parking on airport property to meet my needs and the off airport parking relieves congestion within the airport area. Can't imagine losing this service due to some fee they deem necessary to meet costs.

Unbelievable --- Another Tax that ultimately citizens pay. Completely unfair to off-airport parking companies too. Add over-regulated Taxi policies and fees to the list too. Government going too far.

I fly to Phoenix several times a year from Calgary AB Canada. I do not see how this extra "tax" will do anything but hurt my pocket book.

If off airport parking did not exist the airport could not handle either the parking demands or the traffic.
