In a Republican run state, we should promote competition and the free enterprise system. The new tax gives government run parking an edge over private companies. Sounds like a Democratic proposal.

I have been using off-airport parking since I moved to AZ. I feel unnecessary fees would jeopardize this for me. Just because you built additions to your parking lots, is no reason to destroy a helpful business outside the airport. My friends will have to resort to dropping off each other at the airport, and everyone looses. More traffic at airport and parking companies off site going under and lost jobs!

The proposed fee is excessive and may well have unintended consequences as others have mentioned. Please revisit this.

Excessive taxes on Off-Sight Parking companies and their customers is counterproductive. Should the affected companies be affected to the extent that many of them go out of business how does that benefit their customers (me), how does that affect the many people that lose their jobs (obvious), and how will that affect the airport itself (more crowded, more expensive and less convenient). PHX bills itself as the "friendliest airport". If this new fee is implemented, the city of Phoenix will need to rethink their marketing slogans. This is a bad idea!

People are being charged more by the airlines and now you want us to have to pay more to park too? STOP IT PLEASE--soon we won't be able to afford to travel at all

No airport fees to be added.
As it is now, the access to airport is messy and this tax or charge would cause additional cars to drive by and drop -off passengers, thus increasing more traffic at the airport.

20% tax for offsite parking buses is much too extreme and unnecessary. I do not approve or agree with such an unfair taxation for off site parking buses.

Fees should reflect only actual costs incurred by the airport and should not become a profit center for Sky Harbor.
