Other fee, the people of PHX along with others pay taxes for the Airport. Imposing a fee like this is Absurd! The airport trying to generate revenue.

This is crazy! There shouldn't be a fee to bring paying customers to the airport! Maybe the airport should pay the off-site parking companies for delivering their passengers!

This fee has the potential of diverting travelers to using more private autos and actually increasing airport congestion, as well as requiring more energy (gasoline) use that would contribute to global warming. Better, would be to lower fees, decreasing parking costs and encouraging one way travel to and from the airport, with the increase in large capacity vans and busses from offsite parking actually reducing costs, pollution, and congestion.

Coporate welfare for the big money. Think of available valuable land if offairport parking can't afford the leases.

Very disappointing to hear this news. Parking on the airport is challenging enough and now you're going to make it that much tougher by adding a tax to incentivize people to part at the airport. I guess I'm going to have to take another look at who on the city council proposed/supports this and let my voting do the talking.

Off site parking is a benefit to all by keeping unnecessary traffic out of the airport.
It makes no sense to make it more congested by adding a cost that would encourage more private vehicles with a single passenger pick up or drop off.
Let's try to encourage more public transportation, not less.
